Taskmanager image after trojan removal.
Here a break down of what the processes are:
explorer.exe
firefox.exe
taskmgr.exe
mspaint.exe
noadware4.exe NoAdware
devldr32.exe is installed with Creative Labs audio hardware.
dslmon.exe is a process associated with the Sagem DSL Modem.
quickdcf.exe is a piece of software installed alongside the Fuji digital camera.
winampa.exe is a product from Nullsoft, called WinAmp this is properly the agent
qttask.exe produced by Apple, installs a tray bar icon which links to the Apple QuickTime video streaming tool.
avgcc.exe AVG.
d4.exe is a time synchronization utility for Windows 9x.
jusched.exe is a process installed alongside Sun Microsystem's Java suite.
pdvdserv.exe is a process belonging to PowerDVD
wdfmgr.exe is part of Microsoft Windows Media Player 10
svchost.exe is a system process belonging to the Microsoft Windows Operating System
tcpsvcs.exe is a part of Microsoft Windows networking components.
hpzipm12.exe is loaded by the Hewlett-Packard PSC 2100, 2200, 4100, and 6100 series printer drivers.
avgemc.exe AVG
avgupsvc.exe AVG
slsk.exe file information on Windows XP. Should be located under C:\Program Files\Soulseek\
avgamsvr.exe AVG
saimon.exe is a belonging to the Saimon WriteDVD or Saitek Joystick Driver.
spoolsv.exe file is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32.
sass.exe is a system process of the Microsoft Windows security mechanisms.
services.exe is a part of the Microsoft Windows Operating System and manages the operation of starting and stopping services.
winlogon.exe is a process belonging to the Windows login manager.
csrss.exe is the main executable for the Microsoft Client/Server Runtime Server Subsystem.
alg.exe is a process belonging to Microsoft Windows Operating System.
n Windows NT-based operating systems, the System Idle Process is the system idle task: it measures how much idle capacity the CPU has at any given time.
Well there are all fine, however you might consider, killing the following and setting them not to run at windows start, these files are not needed and they take up ram!
qttask.exe
winampa.exe
If any of the above is not installed, then you have a trojan on your system.
saimon.exe Do you have Saimon WriteDVD or Saitek Joystick? If not then disable this file.
d4.exe, you are running xp this file is not needed nor is it important, get rid of it!
Do a full anti-virus scan, don't used the machine while its scanning! stay of the net until the scan has completed!
