Google SMS (Short Message Service) is a service
offered by Google in the UK and USA allowing certain search queries to be
sent over a mobile phone as a text message. Examples of queries include
phone book listings, weather, facts, dictionary definitions and product
prices from Froogle. The results are sent as text
messages, and the cost of this service is the normal fee that mobile
providers charge for sending and recieving.
However, the service is currently in beta.
